It is hard for a knife knut to pass by antique stores, especially when travelling outside his or her normal pathways!
Most often, the knives found there-in are in poor condition or overpriced, but not always. The best opportunities for me are when traveling to shows and of course, Rendezvous (plural?)
And some prime territory is the southern tier of New York State, where once many cutleries existed.
Around home I often come home empty-handed, but not this trip!!
Here is a mixture of Antique store, and Rendezvous accumulations from this latest foray!

Dang Charlie, you did have a good time at the Rendezvous didn't you:D I really like the Barlow's you found. the Boker, Blue Grass and that OVB, all with unusual blades. The OVB is just amazing, congratulations!

Wow! Some real nice ones there Charlie, I love the Florist's Knife, and the old Barlows, and...well they're all pretty nice really! In fact, very nice indeed my friend, congratulations :)

That's a good haul! I haven't previously seen that jig pattern or color on the "Ancient barlow"-- It looks great!! That whole group of barlows is lookin' nice and tidy!

Wow Charlie!!! The Barlows, the covers on the Ancient from Evan are mind boggling!!!

The vintage Boker, Blue Grass and OVB...OUTSTANDING;):thumbup:

I too have a thing for florists knives and thats a honey, I also love the Schrade budding knife with French Ivory Celluloid? Covers:thumbup: I had a Schrade Cut Co budding knife with the same covers with spey and sheepdog in original pristine condition and sold it:o:eek::mad: I love that shield on the one you have, mine was without a shield.

That is a great haul. Beautiful knives, especially (to me) the Boker, blue grass and the OVB. Congrats!

Nice haul Charlie! I used to own the OVB Barlow and traded it to someone, can't remember who now.
What's your thought on why someone would grind the tang stamp off? Lunchbox knife?

Beautiful Remington Patterend Erickson Charlie, I heard the story of how you and Lyle traded for that one and saw some videos of the coon fingering :D
sent you a PM~

Great pick ups, Charlie! I hope to find one of those Blue Grass Barlows one day.

Would you mind posting a close up of that crest shield on the ivory equal end? I don't think I've seen that one before.

Oh wow!! And they look to be in extremely good condition too!
