Stock removal from a billet by made by Zoe Crist
Heat treated to Rc 58-60 in the inner layer with three normalizing and two tempering cycles with a fine grain throughout the blade (the outer layers are very soft)
Flat grind
Stabilized figured cherry handle
Overall length: 8 43/4 inches
Blade: 4 1/4 inches
Leather scabbard with a belt loop

Oops, forgot that: 1095 core, wrought iron outer.

That is a beauty! But I could sweear that is a Stainless Steel jacket due to the carbon migration at the transition, plus it's color, and that fact that it has no grain showing whatsoever, which wrought iron shows quite a bit of.

Sorry, not trying to butt in or be rude, but I'm pretty positive it is stainless, which I thought guys should know add's more to it's value :)

You are right, I checked with Zoe and was told the outer layer is 416 stainless.
