Mike, payment sent via PP. thanks for all the encouraging posts too.
i look forward to holding this knife, opening it, then closing it, smiling.
you guys know what it's like. right on ! what a great evening ! roland

Congrats on the new knife.. Thats a beauty.
I've always had a soft spot for Ironwood.

Yes, nice curves. soon i'll know how it feels in hand. love the anticipation of a new knife on it's way. roland

i picked up this knife yesterday.
it's a slim compact graceful knife of perfect fit and high finish.
to me it is a "Gentleman's" knife. the bolsters, backspring, shield and pins so highly polished and the ironwood scales so alive with swirling grain and light, that it seems like a piece of fine jewellery; exquisite, and draws me in further each time i look at it, or hold it.(wash my hands first; no grease allowed on this one).
it spent the first night here on my bedside table. that's about as far away as i will allow it to be.
Thank You Mike. roland

Congrats on a great knife. I have two of Mike's knives with a third on order. Something tells I'll need to build a new shelf to put all the Alsdorf knives I'm bound and determined to own.

I grew up on slips and then moved away. Alsdorf, with that kind of artistry, I'm getting pulled back in. I'm going to keep an eye on you my friend.
