I,m on the last stages of making my 1st real slipjoint and using Bocote and Brass as handle and liner,s.

I would like to use super glue as a joiner/sealant to join the handle to the liners as that,s the finish i,m going to use on the wood.

Will super glue work good or do i need to use epoxy ?

Thanks,
Bryce

Folding knive should really have peened pins. The liners on folders can flex, breaking any glue joint. If you must use just glue, contact cement is slightly forgiving of flexing.

Thanks for the info. The pins i,m sure will hold fine but i wanted a lil extra insurance and to keep moisture out.

To keep moisture out use a sealant type glue, not a resin. E-6000 is superb for bonding dissimilar materials together, remaining flexible, and being waterproof.
