Bastid,
That is awesome!!!! That is the kind of knives I find by the shoebox up here in the boonies of NH. Sadly, few are in that shape, and winter is just about here, so my yard sale/flea market-ing will wait until next Spring cleaning. One day, with some luck and an ONGOING SJ Thread, I can LEARN about these type of knives. In the Old Farmhouse enviorment that I liver in they come by the box full at a buck, but man are they users and somewhat beaten to hell. But I have some to clean up this winter and many are pure OLD slip joints!!!!!
TEACH me,Thanks.............wolf

Do I have a Second?

Besides GusK can teach Bastid all he needs to know about moderating.

(pssssst...hey Gus is anyone still buying this dual personality BS?)

I hope not, just gives Gus a chance to be a little rowdy on occasions :D.

Slip joints offer a variety that the one hand wonder knives of today don't match or equal.
Just like a large beautiful woman there is simply more to love and work with.

sign me on as a supporter of a slip-joint forum also...and i gladly second Phils nomination of that Gus Bastid as the moderator :)

regards,
bill o.
