Slipjoint #4 Complete....Critique

I find the Picture of the "T44" Rifle very interesting ! I did not know that the M14 had that designation during the design phase. And that guys face makes me roll with laughter. I guess thats what you look like when you "riddle steel helmets at 1,200 yds."

(My apologies to the Mods.... Off guns and back to knives).

Great looking knife. Amazing talent for you 4th

Beg pardon? You sure you posted in the correct thread?

Haha...glad someone else saw the humor in it. I was looking for a military picture to use as a background and when I saw the look on that guys face I had to find a way to use it. Thanks for the compliments.

No harm. He is referring to the background in the first pic.

I agree with others about larger shield and centered lanyard hole. Otherwise... terrific slipjoint! Really looking forward to number 5.

I like it a lot. The only critique I have is to move the lanyard hole down closer to the bottom.

Thanks Rick and Traumkommode for the compliments and critiques. I'm not sure what #5 will be yet. Maybe bone? Haven't done that yet. As for the nick...I prefer long pulls but wanted to try a nail nick. I like a deep nick and it's needed with this one as the blade doesn't set high enough to pinch open.
