Slipjoint "Folding Hunter"s

I didn't see a specific era limitation, so here's some elder hunters, from left to right: Continental Cutlery (1915-1920), Ulster Knife Co, (1876-1941), Hammer Brand/NYKC (1878-1932), Hammer Brand/NYKC, 1878-1932), OVB/Hibbard, Spencer, & Bartlett (1884-1960).

Oh, my, Stuart!!! Everything you have shown has been just DUCKY! Wow! I can't say enough! Am I clear on this?

Stuart and Cal - loving the vintage folding hunter show you guys are putting on! Don’t stop (unless you’ve run out of knives to show!). OH

As clear as rendered duck fat, as I was "going with the flow". I do like those early brutes. They are KNIVES.

Thanks, Bruce. I've run out of air and time (and getting close to the bottom of the barrel, I think). Will post more once/if I find them in the piles/boxes and get pics.

Years ago before I knew much about traditional knives I came across in my business (antiques) a beautiful Ka-Bar hogshead hunter two blade in stag. I remember it had the Olean tang stamp. I may not have known much about knives then but I knew it oozed quality. Wish I'd kept it.
