Slipjoint number five. Nine months in the making...

That looks really nice. You have improved quite a bit. Just think, we can say we all knew you when you were just starting out! Please do more...

Nice knife! Keep up the good work!!
Any chance of adding pics of the three knives in between??

Thank you again for all the kind comments!! It feels good to make knives that people like.

Charlie, Here are the links to the missing knives 2,3 and 4. I do not have #2 or #3 in any longer. #2 went to Dad and #3 went to a great friend that helped me out.

I love #3 and #4 as well wow you really do have real talent! I would buy a knife from you for sure. I know it's only been a couple months but how is that damascus wedding ring holding up?? I'm getting married this next August and do not want a gold ring but was thinking about titanium or something like that but now you got my gears turning. A wedding ring with a patina could be cool. :)

I get to test it out soon. The wedding is in November. I will take pics and let you know how it looks after several months.

Nathan, are you using your mill to cut the nicks?

Yes. See pics....

I really admire someone who can take a bunch of raw materials and turn them into a thing of beauty, and you have certainly done that! Well done, congrats, and keep up the good work!

That is a beautiful Ettrick. A classic Sheffield pattern.

Finally had a minute to google the Ettrick pattern. Those are very graceful looking knives with the rounded end. Thank you for pointing that out.
