slipjoint steel

I've heard that some Camillus slipjoints use 1095 steel instead of the 440A stuff. Is this true? If so, does anyone know which models use 1095 and where I can find them?

Thanks,

Ryan

Ryan, the faux-tortiseshell celluloid handled series all have the 1095 steel. I have two, the trapper and the large stockman. There are also, I think, a small lockback and a small stockman. There may be a 5th as well, memory not serving me well right now.
These are available from only a couple of sources;
AG Russel
Chai Cutlery
and one other purveyor whose name I can't remember (wicked short term memory loss today, probably a flashback from my youth

)
Hope this helps a little.
