Not much of a fixed blade guy, I got this custom skinner from Arno Bernard, the maker, in 2004 at the Oregon show. I liked its simplicity, the fact that it has nice grinds, and a tapered tang, and its nicely matched Giraffe bone scales. As I recall, the 3 3/4" blade is ATS-34, but I don't have anything written down, and I am getting old:eek: ! It has a nice, thick and gnarly water buffalo sheath, hand stitched.
I'd like to trade for a nice vintage slippie, in the $150-200 range. What have you???

I have confirmed that the blade is ATS-34!!

Case 6383 Mint whittlers (hence Minttlers:D )
Swellcenter balloon whittlers, arguably the world's prettiest little pocket knife. Like carrying your girlfriend around with you:eek: ;) !
These three up for trade;

Looking purrrrrrrrrrrrdy sweet them Minttlers are.. If'n you havn't traded them off already, then may I ask, whatchoo look'n fer in a trade??

Traded some and added some; this is what I've got as of today. Whatever's left goes to Oregon for sale. If I missed you before, I apologize and I blame my computer which seems O.K. these days. I'll be extra generous for old Harness Jacks, Ulsters and Schrades!!

I have a NIB Bark River Teddy Hunter with leather washer handle. I'm looking to trade for either a Queen Dan Burke Rancher or Scagel Repro #8. Email me if you want pics.

Here is an updated scan of the stuff I have for trade ,interested in anything that isn't stainless (in exception of buck 110/112). I am particularly fond of vintage schrade, ulster case ect. whittlers, folding hunters ,hawkbills, muskrats. Heck anything that isn't stainless! :D Top is a schrade ph2 ducks unlimited commemorative, bolster is hallmarked, complete with sheath and lanyard, knife is mint, sheath has a scuff. top schrade LB7 is serialized I cleaned it up, bottom schrade LB7 is excellent condition with MAC etch, schrade 227UH is stamped schrade-walden, near mint, light sharpening marks, schrade 89ot, I cleaned it up, still some pits on the blades, the one on the far left is a custom victoinox spartan with walnut burl scales, excellent condition, hardly used. The scan makes the schrade blade look funny, but it's mint. I can supply more (better) photos to interested parties.

This knife has no markings on the blade, celluloid handle scales, and is relatively clean, but definately somebody's old user. Bernard Levine said in his forum, this might be a pre-1936 Imperial. [http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=458493]

The "walk and talk" is firm. The blades are sharp. F&F is not great by modern standards (not sure about "pre-1936" standards). You can see, the handle loop

I'm open to any trades on this (nice user Kershaw Chive maybe?).

I might not check this thread regularly, so e-mail is preferred method of communication for me on this.

Thanks!

Guys: I have a brand new in box Case amber bone large stockman (6375 cv) that I'd like to trade for a medium 6318 cv in amber bone or one of the amber/cv medium stockmans with a pen blade (63032, I think). I might also be interested in trading the 6375 for any 3 7/8" Case stockman with rounded bolsters (CV steel greatly preferred). I'd be happy to e-mail pics.

Ive got a couple to trade for some sak's or really whatever you've got fixed baldes or folders. A schrade USA X-timer new in the clam package, a Case sod buster new in the clam package and a Schrade walden cigar box classic made in USA (by camillus I believe) here is a couple of pics. stroker388@sbcglobal.net

I've got a victorinox spartan with custom walnut burl handles if that would be of interest. like new, only lightly sharpened
