Good Sunday Morning Folksy Folks,

I'd be willing to part with this vintage 1974 Case XX 6202 1/2 Jack Knife in CV (actually Case's older finer carbon steel) and dark brown jigged Derlin scales for something or some things of equal value.

You can email me if you have any interest.

Thanks,

Anthony

Trade offer withdrawn.

This may be a long shot, but I thought I'd put these up and see if anything develops.

I'd like to trade all four of these for one 1974 or 1976 red bone Case 6380 carbon steel whittler in good condition. If I find one, it will be carried and used, so a well cared for user would be ideal.

1st is a Bulldog brand congress pattern, carbon steel, nice synthetic scales in unused excellent condition. 4" closed. (edit to add: I noticed after I put this up here that the scale pin on the far left has a different color than the other two. I don't know what to make of that, but I thought I should point it out. I've had this knife for a few years, and it is just as I received it.)

2nd is a Carl Schlieper solingen steel canoe with nice burgundy red scales. Has been carried, but barely used. 3" closed.

3rd is a 1960's era Case 6229 & 1/2 "Tadpole" with carbon steel blades, beautiful jigged bone, unused, uncarried, excellent condition. About 2.5" closed.

I pulled the Queen Classic congress from this thread because a buddy wants to purchase it.

Here's the latest addition (7/29): A 2005 Case Copperhead with CV blades. Excellent condition. 4" closed. Horse not included.

Post, email, or PM if you have a good used red bone 1974 or 1976 Case 6380 whittler to trade for these four please. If we make a trade, and you are not happy with these for any reason, we can reverse the deal with no problem.

Thanks for looking. :)

TRADE OFFER WITHDRAWN I have two unused slips I would like to trade for one used vintage dogleg jack. If the scales are bad or maybe a blade tip is broke off no biggie. I am looking for a good nice vintage dogleg jack to add to my patterns. I would prefer no larger than 3 5/8 but open on that one also.

What I have is a Case S 278 SS . This knife has scuff marks on the scales. It is unused but has handling marks. Good blade walk and talk. I also have the box for this one and the inner paper even though its not in good condition.

The other is a Remington, made in usa. Not sure of the pattern number. This little knife is 2 7/8 closed. Derlin scales I think. These knives were sold in the early to mid 90's in gift box's with 22 RF rounds. I do have the gift box but would not ship with the ammo. The box is not in great condition. Not good blade center on this one.
The little Remington even has a half stop! Cute little knife.

Anyways if you have a vintage dogleg jack in not so good condition let me know and we can see if we can swap!

Ken

I dont know if i can post this here, but I have a (item edited out as it is not a slipjoint) that I want to trade for a slippie. It needs to be less than 4 inches. I like most styles. I really really want a Ken Erickson Custom, used is just dandy. The @ looks great but has a visible scratch under the opening hole. Thanks!

Ya I figured. I also posted this in the trade forum, but thought maybe because I wanted to trade for a slipjoint it would be ok. Sorry for the inconvenience.

2006 model. 3206 DLB from Moore Maker. It is in great condition. Has some patina on the blades from slicing fruit and veggies. Skinned out one deer. The sheath has a few scuffs on it. Comes with box and warranty paper. There is nothing wrong with it, i just don't use it because it is so big.

I have a NIB Victorinox gunmetal alox Cadet.

Looking for carbon/tool steel, or high grade stainless. Case, Queen, Schatt and Morgan, last 50 years. Wood scales, also jigged bone or delrin. Not really interested in yellow scales, stag or MOP. Stockman, trapper, canoe, moose, sunfish/elephant toenail, campers etc. What patterns do you have?

silenthunterstudios,

Please keep posts to what you are offering for trade and what you are looking for in return. It would be helpful if you would edit your post (above) to make it more concise and less all encompassing. Also, let's not turn this thread into the "knives wanted" section. It is strictly a "swap" area. Finally, please post an email address, or unblock your registered email address so that folks can contact you directly with offers. This will help keep this thread from becoming excessively unwieldy.

Hello silenthunter,

I have no Case, Queen or S&H to trade for your nib Vic Alox Cadet # VN-53045, however, I do have a couple barely used vintage slipjoints to choose from to perhaps trade with you regarding the above expectations in your original posted specifications. If you are interested in an email and pic's from me. Just let me know and perhaps we can trade some photo's of the exact knives for a possible trade?.

Thank You,

Anthony

I've got a Case/Crandall Olive Green Seahorse Whittler LNIB. I used it very briefly and never carried it, I haven't sharpend the blades either. It's in great shape.

I'm looking for a Case Orange G-10 or Bone handled Medium Stockman in similar condition.

Yes, I take horrible pictures. It's tough to get a good pic of a shiny knife.. :)
