popedandy,

I don't have the trades you are looking for, but I just wanted to comment that I had the exact same 1989 Winchester that I picked up at a local Gun & Knife show around here and was very pleased with the quality.. I traded it some years later for a Winchester Sowbelly.. I wished I had held on to it instead of trading it off. Great little lock-back slippy.

Best,

Anthony

I have some CASE knives, some from 70's 80's and more recent. All are in like new never carried condition. Would like to trade for fight'n rooster stockmans mid 90's to older. Really looking hard for the coon hunting stockman with walker coonhound on blade. Guy
The three on right side are 3 and 1 dots from 70's the four on left are more modern. I have 9 of the stainless gentlemans lockbacks from the 80's.
Here are the Case knives I have to swap:

I have an unused Winchester 1950 stag clasp knife that I'd like to swap. Blade length is 4 3/8" and closed length is 5 3/8". There are some dark spots on the spine of the blade and the sides next to the spine where some light rust and corrosion was polished off, and there are polishing marks on the blade in those spots. I'm pretty sure I don't have the box - I got it in trade and don't think the box came with it, but I will check to make sure.

I'd like to swap for:
First choice: Great Eastern Northfield or Tidioute Moose in bone
Second choice: Great Eastern two-bladed #23 Pioneer in bone or micarta, preferably with end cap, 440C blade
Third choice: Great Eastern two-bladed #73 Scout in bone, preferably with end cap, 440C blade.
No yellow bone, please, and definitely no acrylic.

How about if I open the options up a bit more. My preference would be for a knife with two good sized blades or a larger knife (4" or so) with three blades. A couple that come to mind are the Moore Maker Moose and Jumbo Trapper, a Queen/Schatt 2-blade slipjoint Mountain Man, a Case Gunbout Canoe or big Saddlehorn (pattern x2100). Feel free to offer something else. Just because it isn't on the list doesn't mean anything.

Dave

Bulldog on post 766 is no longer available,Thanks,

I have a Schrade+ (USA 285UH) Uncle Henry Trapper Staglon handle that has been carried and sharpened. Will try to get some pics up later the camera's not cooperating this morning.

For the most part I tend to carry a Case medium stockman or the '08 forum knife most days but I'd be open to pretty much anything. Thanks for looking.

Queen Carved Bone Large Texas Toothpick D2 lightly carried - Rolling up to to Alaska

I got this wharncliffe trapper last summer in a trade with SunnyD. I think it's the smaller size at about 3.5". It's a neat knife, but now it's time to try something different. It has seen some pocket time, but only light use. I tend to swap out the ones I don't use much.

I'd like to get a USA Schrade 194OT. It's the Old Timer 1-bladed, liner lock gunstock trapper. My best friend had one the whole time we were growing up and I think it would be fun to have one.

CANAL STREET D2 FULL SIZE TRAPPER

Friends, I have this Canal St knife in Amber jigged bone, comes in the box with papers and a pouch etc.Clip & Spey blades in D2, probably has a serial No. It's more or less unused, not cut anything or been sharpened. For those who like the full size Trapper it could be excellent, I find the springs too light and the snap too weak for my tastes.Could be a Canal St. characteristic though...See their website for pix as I can't film things.

Looking for: CASE Large Stockman in cv and Bonestag, must be unused please

or Böker Large Stockman in Grand Canyon Bone or Appolosa Bone, carbon and unused only .

Thanks W

Up for your consideration for trade is this 2007 W.R. Case in CV steel #54 classic Trapper pattern. Originally hand picked by my friend in Texas with the typical stock Yellow handle, he then promptly re-handled this one with custom stabilized Beechwood scales.

I have carried and used this knife in the woods about a dozen times since. On several occasions I skinned a few Rabbits and a small covey of Bob White Quail. The CV has taken on a beautiful blue--grey patina in the process, I have profiled the edge to perfection at this point, and she currently pop's arm hair.

As some of you may already know, I have an affinity for Trapper's in Hi-Carbon CV steel,, and I have way to many at this point and really need to part with some of them.

Please let me know what you've got to trade via email.

Thanks,

Anthony

EDIT -- UPDATE:

This knife has been spoken for and is headed for a new home : ) Thank You.

I'd be willing to consider swapping my Case Sodbuster Jr. (yellow, CV) or Case Trapper (yellow, CV) for a Case mini trapper.

Used is totally fine (hey, the soddie and trapper are used and sport nice patinas :) ), but not abused. I'd prefer a knife made in the past 5 years or so. I'm at mnessmith AT hotmail DOT com.

(BTW, even though I live in Europe, I have a mailing address in Florida that the knife could be sent to.)

Folks, if you send a PM or email to another member there is no need to post that you have done so here as it just makes wading through the entries that much more cumbersome.

Those who post items for trade should be sharp enough to be on the lookout for contact from those interested. (Please ensure that you have your email and/or PM's enabled.)

Please limit use of this thread to posting your item for trade and to update (or edit) whether the item is still available or not. Feedback from any trades or exchanges should be posted in the appropriate forum.

Thank you.

I'm bumping this because I edited it some.

I have a beautiful GEC (Northfield) #25 "Barlow Jack" in burnt stag that I'd like to trade. This is the one with bolsters on both ends, the Northfield shield, long pull on the swedged clip master blade, and the newer, thinner pen blade. The stag is wonderful. The knife is in perfect condition, (I think I may have cut a box open with it), but the springs are just too tight for me. If you want a knife with "bear trap" backsprings, then this is the one for you!

I'm looking for a nice, smaller (less than 4") Schatt & Morgan, Queen City, Moore Maker, Northwoods, Canal Street, or comparable knife in trade. I'd like to keep the trade value fair, but other than that, I'm pretty open.
(edit) Oh, and if you're interested, please PM me. I often forget to check my email.

Thanks!

EDIT: update- this little baby has been traded. Thank you for all of your kind offers, gentlemen!
