Slipjoints with supersteels, do they exist?

Tony made quite a few in 440v if I remember correctly. One of my favorites on a slip joint is 52100 and I still love A2, D2, CPM-154, BG-42, ATS-34 and 1095.

Fallkniven U1 is killer with killer steel. Not a dud, sorry to say. Best steel I've used in a folder.

Thanks for this RLR. Absolutely no need to apologise

Perhaps I should have been more clear about what I meant. It is a knife I longed to love but on three the springs were way too weak. The knife overall is too heavy and the edges and angles of the handle are dead uncomfortable, not only in use but just generally knocking about in your pocket.

The blade is fantastic, I agree entirely, which kind of annoys me more, as the things holding the blade are bad.

Ah yes, the Buck Canoe. Still have one in a box that I have yet to use but it is an interesting mix of blade profiles and steel combinations.
