Slooooooooooooooow. . . .

Tables were optimized & repaired repeatedly. That's not the issue. We've got twice as much ram as the database sizes as well, so everything should be lightning quick (ie, not a hardware bottleneck).
 
Instead of the usual "servers are busy" message which I also have been getting quite often for the past week , I got this last night

It's been running fine for me today but I didn't log on until later than the people who posted complaints this morning.
 
The server "to busy" errors are infrequent and sporadic. Could be a bug or outside influence. Have we made any teckies walk the plank lately, that have the ability to overload the system?
 
The trolls who've walked the plank lately are both too stoopid to find their own ass with both hands. Today's Dilbert is peculiarly appropriate.

Still getting strange lags on BF as well as "server too busy" messages from time to time.
 
Lots of lagging and "server too busy" this evening. Browser (Explorer or Firefox) doesn't seem to matter.
 
Me too, throw the freeloader users to the sharks I say we'll sail faster then! :D
