Im posting this here because there isnt much Kydex chat going on in the sheath section these days.
Does anyone know where i could get a slot guide for kydex to make making slots easier and identical. Ill post a picture of what im talking about.

No problem with asking about slotting Kydex here. Please stay away from asking for someone to make one for you. That is business talk, whoich we stay away from here unless you are a service provider or knifemaker membership.

Normally, that type job is done by a punch and die.

Sorry Stacy im just struggling to do these free hand and i snapped 2 1/8 router bits trying to make one myself. Ill edit my post.

Try switching to a 1/8" carbide downcut bit. Don't run it with just a small amount through the Kydex. Run it down so there is only 1/4" of cutter above the Kydex. This eliminated the flex/break issue.

Oh i wasnt clear i was using the router to try and make a slot in some 1/4" g10 to use as a guide. I have some 1/8" burrs i use in a dremel to cut slots in kydex and it works well its just hard to get them uniform.

Get some 1/8" thick g-10 or other material as a spacer between two pieces of your G10. Assemble it so you are leaving a gap where you need those slots. Since a template for a slot doesn't need a slotted end, it will work fine. once you assemble it with the gaps between your spacer material making the slots, drill your holes.
