SLUT Guts. . . . . . .

I just love it when they pull up their skirts;):D

LMAO - GREAT one!!!

Thanks for posting the pics Jerry. I really like to see how things are done.... And I LOVE how that was done!

I would LOVE to see that done on MANY other handles. I generally think/feel that a lighter handle feels and balances better - Plus, carries a bit lighter.

Most people might only think this is good for smaller knives, but I think it could be done on many larger knives as well. Considering how Res-C knives have much smaller tangs and hold up fine. It is just a matter of putting the radiused corners and extra steel where needed for extra strength.

Love it!!!

I had previously asked if this could be done on large, full tang choppers, and Jerry responded that it could not, as it would cause excessive vibration delivered to your hand.

Well... I haven't personally tried it myself, so I probably shouldn't make assumptions, but I would "assume" (theorize) that if the top and belly straps were a bit thicker (taller) and maybe an additional vertical section of steel (comparable to additional versions of the current center support) were added to each of the two current large cutouts that most any vibration would be negligible (????) - while still reducing handle weight significantly (????)

Still, even if not added to full sized "Choppers", there are a LOT of mid-sized and larger knife designs that could benefit from lighter handles.

It depends on the knife. To me, many knives feel and balance fine with full tangs. Others feel a bit handle heavy to me. Personal preference is also.... personal.

Cool.
Jerry- Why don't you melt that handle and then no handle slabs are required. :D
