So I just got a techno and absolutely love the thing. The size is great but now I'm wanting something a little larger with the same "this thing could survive a nuke" feeling and pleasant click that the techno has... I missed the bowie and the chef so now I'm looking into all titanium framelocks (even flippers) that could potentially fill the void in my life.

I want to try stay under $400...I've been looking into zt 0456, 0920.. Reates offerings. ..liong mah... Sage2..kizer...etc

I'd just like to get your guy's suggestions because I feel like I'm going to commit to something and realize I missed something good. If possible I'd like to give bladehq my business on this purchase because I have credit there currently.. .Otherwise I'd be looking into the graymans...

Thank you all for your wisdom.

Well I've considered a seb but at that point I'm super close to olamic wayfarer prices and I'd be too tempted on that front. I'm trying to gradually ease myself into mid techs with my knife collecting...if I get a 500 dollar knife I'm worried I'll only want to buy 500 dollar knives and the joy of production will be reduced. But it seems like the bowie was rare on the build quality/ price point and in order to get that now that it's out of production I need more than 400 sheckles ?

Spartan Blades Harsey Folder

There was an almost new Slysz Bowie on the Exchange today...priced at $390.
Now gone. Sorry you missed it.
I've had three. Sold two nib; then bought my nearly-new one. I have had multiple Technos...at least five or more, and while they are great knives, they are too small for my taste.
I carry my Slysz Bowie every day. I think it is my personal favorite of all of the Spyderco models that I've ever owned, and that's saying quite a bit. Obviously, personal choice differs.
I've owned two or three Grayman DUA's; one black, one orange. At a blade thickness of 0.165"...don't expect to slice much in the kitchen. They are excellent heavy-duty knives, but no match for a Slysz Bowie....not even close...but then, few are.

Always wanted one of these especially one of the fancier ones with engravings and such just can't bring myself to buy one

I have one on the way. Man I am so excited I feel like I hear reindeer on the roof!! Will be here Monday. Hopefully this will be my end all be all for a while. I had a Sabenza, liked it but traded it, I have a Spydiechef (really love it) , I think this will temporarily complete my collection. I’m a really big fan of Spartan Blades and Curtis Lovito. The SBPallas is what got me hooked.

Yeah yeah you know in a week you'll be eyeing something else haha. That's the boat I'm in just got a XM-18 and made it full Ti it has satisfied my "I want a new knife" for now. The Harsey folder is an amazing and attractive design I'll get one sooner or later

I’ll let you know what I think. I really can’t wait.

Thanks, the helmet engraved one with the black blade and bronze handle is the one I'd like but it's hard find. All the special editions are sweet

You can get it with the silver blade. I also really like that one. I just bought the all black to avoid the GF’s B-ing. She’s going to get me a special edition one as a wedding gift.
