This is something a "little" different! It is a "mini" version of the hunting knife design I've been messing with lately. I wanted to go super thin on this knife and leave it fairly hard. It's only 5 7/8" long and extremely light. Made from AKS 52100 bearing steel, hardened and tempered for a final HRC of 64-65. This was a project to sort of push the envelope on thin/hard. The pre sharpened edge width was only ~0.004" with a full flat grind. It is easily the thinnest knife I've ever seen! As a side note, the bevel angle formed by the primary grind is only 1.7°!! The handle is made from Red Heart, and secured with brass pins. I don't see many knives like this, I wish there were more similar to it. I made one for myself with a cord wrapped handle and have been very pleased with it during light cutting chores.
