This is something a "little" different! It is a "mini" version of the hunting knife design I've been messing with lately. Well, "micro" may be more apropos. I wanted to go super thin on this knife and leave it fairly hard. It's only 5 7/8" long and extremely light. It's not designed for a large hand to get a full 4 finger purchase on the handle, but my wife can with her small hands. It's a small blade for small tasks. Made from AKS 52100 bearing steel, hardened and tempered for a final HRC of 64-65. I wanted to set the edge bevel with a fine ceramic stone, but got nowhere in a hurry, even tho the edge was barely reflecting light prior to sharpening. I used the American Mutt diamond/SiC stone to set the bevel, fine Crystolon to apex, and straight to the fine ceramic for polishing. It will whittle your little arm hair....on the arm!! 
This was a project to sort of push the envelope on thin/hard. The pre sharpened edge width was only ~0.004" with a full flat grind. It is easily the thinnest knife I've ever seen! As a side note, the bevel angle formed by the primary grind is only 1.7°!! The handle is made from Red Heart, and secured with brass pins.
Asking price, with a custom made kydex sheath, is only SOLD! If you want it "sans" sheath, I'll let it go for SOLD). This knife does include my "write-your-own" warranty, but please understand the limitations a knife like this brings. You won't be able to cut down that annoying crape myrtle that's been bugging you! (I don't know...maybe you could...with good technique, and a lot of time on your hands!) Oh yeah, free lifetime sharpening and free shipping in the USA.
