small bit size chuck?

I've run into what I'm sure is a common issue for people making and working on folders. My drill press's chuck can't handle bits that small.

What do folks suggest? I figure I need to hold at least down to a size 50 drill bit and I'd like to not be at the limit. I'm sure Jacobs makes one, but are their others? How is the performance of the lower end jacobs models for this size range? I don't have the money to spend $100+ on a chuck these days but trying to hand drill the holes isn't practical.

Yeah, did some browsing there and they actually have what looks like a smaller version of what is on my press already. $25, which would be great. I need to setup an account with them to see what shipping would be.

Thanks a bunch.

eta: $7.50 shipping, so that's not too unreasonable if I can't find one locally.

That chuck is great on the 12 speed HF press.
I drilled a few hundred small holes with that setup already today.

Code PFSAUG gets you free shipping on $25 this month.

There you have it

You don't have to change your chuck, just use a quality pin vise to hold the smaller bits. You simply chuck in in your drill press, like a bit.
