Small blade, what do you recommend?

cul⋅tel⋅lus
/kʌlˈtɛləs/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [kuhl-tel-uhs] Show IPA
–noun, plural -tel⋅li  /-ˈtɛlaɪ/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [-tel-ahy] Show IPA . Zoology.

a sharp, knifelike structure, as the mouthparts of certain bloodsucking flies.

From the Latin

cultellus -i m. [a little knife].

but mouthparts of blood sucking flies works ;)

I think you have your bases covered fine with the S5LE...it is small enough and light enough to do all the small knife work...a bird and trout style knife would not add a lot except weight IMO...if you wanted a back up I would suggest a skelly warden to add to your CGBM sheath or some of the other skelly designs like the scotch dispenser...you only need a light alternative blade if you were to loose the S5LE...or not have it with you when you did have the CGBM...

Is the skelly the skeleton game warden?

Yes, as far as I am aware. There were a few "skeleton" type of knives done i.e. knives without full tangs and handle grips...there was a skeleton warden...if you ask for pics there are bound to be some who have them. The Scotch Dispenser was another....the last time I saw a Skelly Warden I think it was in Lil Foo's collection photo...that was back in June if I remember rightly...I will do a search and see if I can find it.

Check out the second pic down in post number 20 in the bottom left hand corner of the pic:thumbup:

Yes.

Another one not yet mentioned would be the ScrapYard Street Scrapper 4 in INFI. Has the mudder handle on a Leaner Meaner-style 4" blade. Available only on black, it is not as pretty as a satin GW or Cultie, but can be found for under $250.
