small boot knife

I am looking for a small boot knife, with a 2.5-3.5 inch blade, dagger ground but not necessarily with a double edge. I like the looks of the Al Mar fang, Bear MCG stag boot knife, etc. I thought about a guardian from gerber but I think I want something a little more gentlemanly, rather than tactical looking. I'd like to spend under 110 dollars but I'll consider any suggestions.

anyone have any ideas? I've been scanning ebay etc, and missed a few auctions on knives I liked.

thanks

Peter

Crkt sting available from AG russell, it is a repro of their original sting.

SOG Mini Pentagon is easy to carrry and has a straight edge on one side and a serrated edge on the other. Extremely sharp. Don't overlook the larger Camillus boot knife. Inexpensive, and can be made very sharp in a couple of minutes with ceramic rods and a leather strop.

Ok. the suggestions have been very helpful. but...now I can spend a little more (my girlfriend said so, as long as I spend the same amount on her:). )
So...the al mar fang is what I am looking for, or something very similar. custom or semi custom is ok, production is good, but I'd prefer it a little dressier than a tactical style boot knife, and short, around 5-7 inches in overall length. I prefer a leather sheath with a thumb snap, but I will consider kydex or concealex- they won't be deal breakers.

keep the suggestions coming please :)

Thanks again
Pete

For something different, your may want to look at a Hattori boot knife on World Knives web site (I think it is worldknives.com). I really like mine. Very high quality, leather sheath with thumb break, as you wanted.
