Here’s a cool small Bowie Knife I’ve made. Originally it was a blank I’d cut and immediately hated. I finally found a way to use it in a way that works very well. Inspired by some of Fred Perrin’s work, I went with a short scale on the handle with a large finger choil. It really feels great in my hand👍 I made this Bowie from .200in thick 5160. The scales are textured black G10. The sheath is black Boltaron with a reversible belt loop. Overall it is 10 9/16in. The blade is 6 7/8in tip to scales. Weight is a super easy to carry 8oz! The cold blued blade has flat grinds. The swedge isn’t sharpened. The price is $300 ***sold***shipped in the US.

I'd love to see something similar with a slightly more pronounced clip and sharpened top edge.

That being said, this example is superior to one of Fred's Street Bowies, which are far thinner and lighter.
