Forged from 1085 high carbon steel
Differentially heat treated in my Paragon furnace to Rc 58-60 on the edge with a softer body. The edge will not sharpen with a file, a stone is required; it will hold an excellent edge
Hand made ash handle
Head length: 7 inches
Cutting edge: 3 inches
Length including the head and handle: 14 inches
