hey guys hope you like it! i don't do them very often as the are quite time consuming but i got the new shop going and thought i would christen it with a nice forged piece!

forged hatchet out of 5160 with hand made hickory handle and buffalo hide beltloop / sheath.

Its nice and thin to bite into whatever you swing it at.

i stonewashed the hole bit as well and but a walnut stain on the hickory to give it a bit more character!

OAL is 14.5"
cutting edge is just under 3"
heal to edge is 5.75

I've said it before, but we need more stuff like this on here. Handmade hatchets rock, and this one is one of the better ones I've seen.
