Hi, for sale is this "small" custom originally purchased from the Oregon Knife Collectors Association knife show in 2010 or 2011. I can't recall the maker.
I call it a "small" chopper, it could be a cleaver. OAL is 11 3/4in.
Blade is 1/4 spring steel, I am pretty sure it was 5160, but I didn't catalog this knife for some reason along with several others. Length of blade is 6in, cutting edge about 5 3/4in.
He told me he forged these at his Oregon based shop. It has a hammer finish on the flats, and was flat ground with a flat secondary bevel.
He did the cord wrap; I think is decent and VERY comfortable in hand.
He also did the leather belt sheath.
I wish I knew his name, sorry sir.
I am asking much less than what I paid.
