Small D-2 Utility

This is a simple little knife well suited for everyday carry. The 1/8" flatground D-2 blade is Cryo'd by D'Holder and is convex edged. I suppose the best description of the blade is a small, roach belly style. The blade itself measures 3" x 1 1/8" tip to plunge. From the plunge to the butt, the knife measures 4 1/2 inches; making the handle longer than the blade. This seems to drive some folks crazy, so I thought I'd include it. I prefer my handles long enough to grasp and control the blade, as opposed to " proportional". At least in this case. The handle itself is natural linen micarta with a black liner and copper/stainless loveless bolts. Copper lanyard tube liner. The mild curves fit the hand well. The knife weighs 5.1 oz and balances about a quarter inch behind the first bolt. The sheath is 8-10oz Veggie tanned bridle leather and is saddle stitched with welt. It still needs to be soaked in Beeswax(sno-seal); which will darken it a bit.
