I decided on the Mini Fox River because it's safe for me to carry almost anywhere here in California. I was reading a post on another forum from one of the BRKT guys that funky knife ordinances were one of the things that they took into account designing the knife. Here in Berkeley I'm not allowed to carry any fixed blade, and there's a 3in limit on all knive. (as well as a ban on all assisted opening knives) So I figured if I'm gonna carry it, I may as well comply with half the law. As well as that Oakland has a 3in limit from what I've read, but no ban on the fixed blades. So I'm trying to play nice. I think it'll be a good pick for my uses. I also ended up getting it in 3V, just for the hell of it. I won't be using it for any sort of super hard use, but I like the idea of just a little extra.
