Here is a nice and compact little cutter with a potent hawkbill. This one is made of AEB-L that is slightly under 1/8" Thick. HT'd and Cryo'd to 60rc. OAL is 5 1/4" with a 2 1/4" Blade. Chisel grind that transitions into a high polished zero convex edge that is stupid scary sharp. Asking 170 shipped CONUS. Paypal or MO.

BAN, how could a simple user dude like myself, resharpen a curved chisel ground, convex edge blade ? If used as a garden pruner it would need to be resharpened eventually.

You can use a standard strop to maintain the edge. A faster and easier way would be to glue a piece of leather onto a cylinder. If you need more or faster metal removal then simply wrap some 320 grit sandpaper over said strop.

BAN, i'll take it please and with a kydex sheath as well.
please pm me your PP info.

Thanks BAN, That will work just fine. I'm going to see how i like it for summer garden pruning (fruit trees, grapes, roses, etc.) and i'll pocket carry it.
Never thought i'd ever buy a Hawkbill. BAN's work is hard to resist.

I like to carry a lot of my smaller fixed blades in my back pocket as well. I typically just run some paracord through the rivets and loop one end of the cord to my belt loop.

Absolutely beautiful. I'm a horticulturalist in my free time, as well as a student at a large agricultural university with extremely restrictive knife carry laws. A hawkbill is bar none the best blade style for an agricultural EDC knife.

Drooling right now, this is literally exactly what I've been looking for.

:)
