For my 3rd blade I decided I wasn't do any grinding on any other knives so I am doing a WIP to keep in track an get one completely finished. The first 2 all I have done is grind in the bevels. So to keep this quick I am doing this one out of titanium. Pics below of progress so far. I only had a few hours to work on it today and I grind slow as molasses on a cold day. I also quickly put together the last pic just to practice putting on handles.

The rough shape was cut out with a grinder

Cleaned it up with a 40 grit belt

Forgot to snap a few pics in between, but I used a 80 grit belt to flat grind in the bevel. Then put a 15 degree edge an drilled a few holes. I'm still struggling with the grinding but I am not gonna be to critical of myself seeing as this is only my 3rd time grinding. I went to high on one side but the left side came out better.

This last pic is a just a quick convex grind and some jade g10 with 3/16 pins. This was just to practice putting on handles. I wanted to try it out on this knife so I didn't mess up my WIP

I am having a blast! It hard going but it's a lot of fun.

just be carefull with breathing the fumes...and don't let a anything pile up under the grinder when grinding Ti, bad things can happen

It looks as though you suffer from the dreaded blocky handle syndrome. I doubt there is a new maker that doesn't struggle with it. I have it bad. don't be afraid to take of a lot of handle material to make it comfortable. curves are good, edges are not.

I don't mean this to say that you did a bad job. I love the knife. I just want to pass on what other people have told me.

That is Small. Nice and clean too.

Are you going to get it carburized?

I have thought about it. Perhaps I will in the future. Is there company's that offer this service? I woul like to buy a carbidize but don't have the coin at the moment.

@TheGeek574 I was gonna do a anzo type pattern but these blades are so small an thin that leaving the the g10 full thickness fills the hand nicely. Hahaha I agree the flat handles look very bland.
