AKA "Cokebottle" ,"Beavertail" It's a jack knife of the swell center family.
Fresh turkey soup for lunch today. I made it on Sat. & it came out darn good if U ask me.
Oh,forgot, I'm on the knife forum , not the cooking forum , sorry
This very, very well made small custom slipjoint by John is real unique in a few ways. Size> it's 3.25" closed, open it is 5-7/8". The blade is 2.5" with 2.25" of cutting edge.
The scales are carbon fiber, but not just any carbon fiber. John called it "random pattern" carbon fiber. This is what he says , "It is carbon fiber but it is randomly laid up....not in a particular pattern like basket weave or cross hatch or something like that. I like it.....how about you...?"
The ss pinned & inlaid shield is of the fish variety. The buyer can opt to have this knife engraved, at an additional cost, but I can handle it,if you wish,I mean fish,or ??. I have a few pics for examples if need be.
The hollow ground satin finished blade,is not a clip or a spear as you woul usually see in this frame, but,a warncliffe.
The easiest to sharpen, and a very great choice for a small Gents type EDC if I may say so myself.
It is razor sharp. Blade & spring is CPM 154 CM ss. The blade has a mild drawn swedge on it & a crescent nail pull.
Spring tension is a snappin' 6. This is a firecracker! Very smooth. Spring is flush in all half stop positions, blade centers very nice. It's "pinchable" too.
Fit & finish,walk and talk,outstanding.
I dunno if I missed anything.
Prices are shipped in the Con U.S.
$265. Paypal ,fee included
$255. U.S. Postal M.O.
Thanks Everybody
Check it out............................
