Small Fishing kit for PSK

I don't know what the container is, I bought it here in Fayetteville at a pawn shop, it was labeled as a waterproof container and I paid 12 dollars for it, which I thought was highway robbery but I really wanted the container.

The knife is a Blackhawk Kalista, in a canoe or kayak a neck knife is the best carry IMO. Chris

Pelican makes some nice waterproof containers for rafter/kayakers. They're not cheap either, but they're well made.

runningboar, is that paracord tied in the back or is there some kind of break-away connector? I was recently chastised (mildly, but rightly so) for considering paracord as a necklace material. Since it can hold 550 lbs, chances are you're not getting loose without cutting the cord if you get in a bind.

It is a break away ball chain, 550 around your neck in a canoe I would say is a very bad idea.

Thanks for the link, my local outfitter carries those pelican cases and you are right they are very well made and expensive, but you can't polish the inside of the lid for a mirror or boil water. Chris

Chris, I like that container of yours. I've seen them online and almost bought one, but the shipping put the price over the top for me.
