I guess right now I am focusing on the Blind Horse Frontier First Patch. A few suggested I couldn't find a site that sold them or if they were still made (ex. JK Sparkler).

Good choice. I have one and like it a lot.

Spartan balde Enyo has been on my belt for over a week now and I'm loving it.

It's just over 6" but this number can be deceiving, it certainly doesn't feel like a 6" blade, very compact and easy to conceal.
The swedge grind and multiple choke-up rests enable fine works and penetration.
beefy S30V but only 2 something ounces.

I've always prefer slightly larger EDC but the one I usually carry has double edge(illegal) so I swapped it for this Enyo, very happy with it.

If you don't want to go custom for some inconceivable reason you could check out the tiny tops ferret. overall under five inches. My second choice would have to be the Izzy.
