Small fixed blade for general outdoor use

Take a look at the "Dart" model that Brian Evans has designed. Very close to what you're looking for and he does it in CPM-20CV which is an outstanding stainless supersteel. I carry mine daily and had to order another one once the ladies in camp used it for food prep. He also offers custom scale/handle options and multiple custom kydex sheath options.

The White River Knives Backpacker or Caper both have a 3" blade and 7" overall length. I believe they are the same blade, but the Backpacker has a cord-wrapped handle and the Caper has solid scales.

This looks like another great option. Can you point me to where I could purchase one of these? I tried google but nothing obvious came up.

What's the blade and overall length on this one?

The new Cold Steel Pendleton or the Mini Pendleton would fit your needs though I don't have one . I have the SurviveKnives 3.5 which I would certainly recommend !!
All three have CPM 3V blades as does the Master Hunter ! They are getting smarter !

Ahti Tikka puukko. Inexpensive but a great knife. I received mine in a BF GAW, and it quickly became a favorite. I carry it often.

I own A PSK and EPK, both excellent small bush crafting knives both of which are in 154cm. ESEE now has a Izula in stainless uncoated, im guessing 440c. Its worth a look for sure. im also a fan of the Izula, I stripped the coating of 2 of mine and high shined one and 1800 grit rubbed the other and coated them in Rustys rags when not in use. I found this works very nicely

Check in the "knife makers" section of the exchange . There's a maker named DuckChildress who makes VERY nice small fixed blades that you might find just right . A lot of his work is in the exact size range you are looking for . He makes small knives around 6 1/4" overall for usually around $95 and they are very nice looking knives .

Thanks to all of you who provided suggestions! There are several options which perfectly meet my criteria, but I think I have decided to go with the Bradford Guardian 3. Looks like a great knife! Thanks again!

Cool, thanks. FB link doesn't seem to work, just goes to my newsfeed? Not sure if the problem's on my end or yours.

Who will be doing the HT, and what's the blade length going to be? I see the 5 3/4" OAL.

1/8", CPM-20CV, and a good kydex sheath for $90 definitely has my attention!

Peter's Heat Treat, They will have cryo done too, of course. Brad Stallsmith out there does freaking phenomenal.

Message Ronnie/Hale Storm and see what he thinks about his edge holding and corrosion resistance. That CPM20CV is great steel.

I'll check the blade length today when I get home, I'm on the ambulance for another hour and I don't want to tell you wrong. How horrible is that? It's my pattern and I can't remember. 25 hours of no sleep does that to a guy. I'll check on it.

Message me or email me and we can talk specific details. There are so many options for this knife; liners, stacked liners, lanyard hole, ferro notch, extended handle, different handle shape, tapered tang, upgraded scale material. A whole heck of a lot of sheath options with colors and patterns. Extremely high quality sheaths by Hale Storm Custom Kydex. Lots of stuff.

Full disclosure, Ronnie does my sheaths. Yeah, he loves his knife and talks it up, but he is anything but my shill. He agreed to make sheaths for my knives only after seeing my quality and I decided to use him as my sheath maker only after seeing the quality sheaths he turns out. They are huge value added to the knives. Buffed edges, all 100% USA made components, every single sheath is fit to the exact knife it's for. Great stuff.

I'm working on a run right now. I'll make seven or eight and have them heat treated and put them up for sale on preorder. That way you can pick all the options you want and I'll build it to order. It's almost a one off knife. The $90 price will only last through the first couple runs. I want to get my name out, but the knives are definitely worth more.

Message/email me and I'll tell you more and get you a price list. This has gone a lot off topic. Sorry.
