Small fixed blade for law enforcement duty belt?

Lots of good suggestions.

Don't laugh but I am considering a Camillus boot knife. I carry a tactool in my car for bigger jobs. I think the boot knife might be a solution, and economical, for now. What do you think?

Some great suggestions so far. I think the CRKT Polkowski Kasper Companion is a greatly unappreciated value. It's a top-flight design, executed in excellent materials, for under $40. It even comes with TWO sheaths and a wide variety of carry options.

It's also (like the G10) available at the Cutlery Shoppe:

I don't know why I don't have TWO they're such a deal!

Newt Livesay makes a very nice small(3 1/4") blade knife called the NRGS. With the addition of black micarta handles, the Executive option, they run around $55. They are 1095 @ 59-60 Rc. They are just right for what you need
