Small Fixed Blade Suggestions

heh heh.... I also loved that Kwaiken by Lucas Burnley and came this/close to getting one, but had to shy away due to price. His prices are reasonable... I just could not bounce up to that level now.

I would suggest getting a thin 1095 mora like the one shown attached (or you can have mine :), they are more slender than some of the other blade profiles recommended above (though not quite as slender nor tapered as the Kwaiken) and cost about $25 or so delivered. Put your own wrap on it and presto, you've got a great EDC for le$$.

I've been carrying a BHK "August Special" occasionally. It's based on their patch knives, but with a FFG and rosewood scales. They aren't available anymore, but the patch knives are. A little more "traditional" looking, but I like 'em.

I got tired of looking for my own little ideal, off-the-shelf fixed blade so i drew one while i was at work then mailed the drawing off to Eddie White and he made it come to life... oh and it came with a hand made custom sheath made specifically for it by Sherry Lott. It's been the most satisfying knife purchase i have made by a long shot and really not *that* much dough!
