Hello makers -- (sorry for the length... wanted to be thorough)
I'm looking for a custom solution for a small (6 to 7") fixed blade for horizontal carry on my belt. Ideal knife would have either thin g10, wood, or CF handles (or some combination of those), or be skeletonized with paracord. Also would like a low profile sheath for the horizontal carry (makers input welcome here).
My rationale is for a fixed blade carry that will be a little less obvious than one hanging from my belt and would not be uncomfortable (light & thin). I'd prefer a stainless steel because of sweat/water/maintenance (s30, m4, also open to makers recommendations) or TI.
I will attach a few VERY ROUGH sketch ideas... I'm hoping a maker can run a little creatively with this. I have an ESEE Izula and while I like it, I wish the blade was a little longer and I'd like something more personal/cleaner/classy in design while supporting the talented makers of BF.
I want someone who wants to have a little fun making a cool knife, not afraid to toss ideas out or try something unique. I'm an easy going guy and a fan of all knives so if we end up making another (or another) down the road, even better.
A few random notes/thoughts: Tapered tang if using a handle (possibly?). Choil (I'm not adamant on this). It's worth noting I have relatively small hands so the Izula handle (known for being short) fits my hand fine.
Budget: I'd like to keep it under $200 but if you have a great idea, the budget is very flexible.
Thanks in advance!!!
