Small fixed blade

I would agree with the nimravus cub comment. That's a nice knife for about the price you had set. If you want to splurge the Manta Ray (RJ Martin) or Steve Corkum's 1'st strike are both real beauties.

I've been looking at a few. Just don't know enought about the knives are maker to make a judgement. Appreciate hearing your thoughts on these and suggestion on others to check out

Strider (SA)
Peter Atwood (TT Drop Point Keychain knife or TT Medium drop point Neck chain knife
Sean O'Hare (Hornet)
Spyderco ( Either Bill Moran model though they are a little larger than I want)

That's easy. Check out Gene Ingram. He'll make the knife in whatever steel and handle slab material you like. I have been very happy with his work.

Keith Murr makes some very good working knives and his prices are about the same as some of the more mid-range production knives. This one was about 120-ish if I recall right. Basic d2 and micarta, very nicely done and excellent edge holding.

Just to keep you updated, I decided to go with the Atwood model for time being. I looked at several sites from the posts and like the definitely liked the knife from Razorback and actually a couple of from Chiro 75. Several other places had some very nice knives right in my price range. Boy, if you step a little past what I wanted to spend the world just opens up with options. I'm going to give the Atwood a try for now. Thanks for all the help!
