I'm a relative newcomer here and have seen my bank account diminished by the terrible photos you folks have posted. After succumbing to a number of folders and some larger fixed blades I am drawn to the smaller fixed blades. Have an Isula II and a Bradford Guardian 3 which I just got and think is great so I'm just trolling for some other possible ideas. I would like a great little fixed blade to pull out and eat a good steak with, etc. Know what I mean?

If you want to eat steak, than what could be better than the TOPS Tactical Steak Knife. :D

I've been carrying a Fallkniven juni. Totally impressed great steel sheeple friendly. Also look at the fallkniven kolt. Good luck

Bradford fan here. One of my other very favorite fixed blades is the original DPx HEST by Rowen---they're good on 1095. It's probably the best knockaround fixed blade there is IMO.

The rest of the HEST line is great too but the original fixie with its prybar is so good. I think it comes with a better sheath now too.

I also like my BK-11 san mai. If you like the stiletto style you still can't beat the old Tekna dive knife.

EDIT: I just read a post below me. You need to give us a budget. There are a lot of good ones out there.

How small is small? I love me some Survive Knives 3.5.

In the neck knife world the White River Backpacker is really sweet at $89. Its similar in shape to the Izula, with a nice stonewash and 1/8 inch thick S30V steel. It cuts like a laser. I also like the Spartan Blades Enyo. Take a look at Bark River Knives. They have TONS of small designs.

Here's a nice 3.125" fixed blade that works well as an EDC and would look good on any dining table - the Buck 113 Ranger

Steel Warrior 2 3/4" blade and 3 1/2 handle. Not sure but I think it is by Frost Cutlery :)

stumbled on this thread and I never knew about that buck 113. Looks fantastic to keep in the pocket and eating with.

Wow, that Buck 113 looks nice. I have several larger Bark Rivers, Bravo 1, Fox River, Grasso Bolo I and have considered some of their smaller knives. Something up to their price range or above is my price range.

For a fixed small blade, I prefer the Murry Carter neck knife line. Kinda expensive but I like them.

Fallkniven WM1

Can be had in VG10 or 3G Powder Steel

Bark River also gets my vote. I especially like the handle material and designs they use.

The smallest one on the bottom in this picture is my Mora 2/0. It feels smaller in the hand than it looks in this picture. It makes a great little lightweight neck knife for fishing, food prep, camp eating', and light camp chores.

Cuts like a laser and sharpens up super easy on just about abrasive or sharpening system you can find.

I am partial to the Moras obviously. They are almost too cheap (read affordable) to give a chance. I overlooked them for a long time before finally trying one. I actually like them more than some considerably more expensive knives.
