But seriously if I was going to pull a fixed blade out to eat with I would like it to be a Bark River, and they make a number of different models depending on the exact size that you want.

Gotta bump this thread. I love small fixed blades so I definitely want to see what people suggest. Love my Izula 2, like my BK11, but always looking for something else. The Tops Mini Scandinavian looks great and I'm looking forward to the new camplore line of knives coming from Esee in 2015

I LOVE my bk14, but if I was going to sit down in polite company and pull out a fixed blade to cut a steak it would be my Anza 13 hands down. Made from an old file (cant say why, but looks classy) neat wooden handle, great leather sheath and maybe the best slicer I own (and I have an Opienel and a SAK). GREAT lil fixed blade for under $50 on the big auction site.

Haven't gotten one yet, but the Schrade f16 neck knife has my eye. 3"~ blade, 7"~ overall

I carry a FB every day. Most of the time now it's a Bradford G3, which you already have. If I don't carry that, it'll be one of my BRKT Essentials. That's a great little FB, especially in stag. I have actually used it in a restaurant once.

Might be on the upper end of the small size at a little under 8'' overall but the Lone Wolf Mountainside is a handy little knife.

EDIT: With Izula I for size comparison

Russel bird and trout and the knives of Alaska cub bear are two that I have experience with both great knives that would serve you well. Although not extremely sexy

Lots of good ideas here & the Bradford sets the bar high. I will add my newest FB . Kershaw 1080. So far a good blade for the money.

I haven't been 100% satisfied with my fixed blades. While I really love my Buck 113 I wanted something a little smaller. So I bought the Izula. I love the size but the edge retention for me hasn't been too notch. So I made this from an old file. This thing is nasty. It's paracord wrapped for now until my micarta comes in. If you have a belt sander and some patience, these make top notch knives.
