My vote goes to the Lava Sprint. Probably my favorite small supplemental knife, followed by a close second of G10 or SB Dragonfly.
The Salsa was a decent bet too, but similar to Meerkat, a bit harder to find.
Dodo is awesome too, a real must-have, but in a bit larger overall category in my opinion.
It is not dedicated to carpenters as an occupation... It is made for workers at Carpenter, the company that manufactures and supplies the steel for many of the knives now being made by Spyderco.
IE, anything that begins with "CTS", like XHP and 204P, etc.

I just got it and man it really impressed the heck outta me, the Foundry is a knife that really needs to be given a look over by many Spyderco fans as it has great steel, a R.I.L. lock (which is really as good as it gets) a great pocket clip, is super slim at 0.33 inches wide, and has a really great blade shape. Yes, I wish that the scales were titanium but once you read about it that is not what they were going for with the Foundry. It is to honor all of the carpenters in this great country of ours so they threw two of the best carpenter's steels that exist at it. Plus, the ergos are just amazing. It just melts into the hand and is not too big and no too small. Perfect IMO.
