Small forge - paint can & sawdust

For makers on a very tight budget, new makers looking for a cheap forge with which to try out the hobby, or a maker who is jury-rigging while away from the shop, here is a link to a rather unusual small forge made from nothing more than a paint can with a hole in the side and some sawdust packed in it. Just remember, forced air is your friend.

Hey Ray!! I can see it too. But you'd have to set it on a table or something to not have it on the ground, lest you toast your tootsies in those ever-so-stylish forging sandals of yours.

Greg, I think my wife tossed my sandals. I was going to take them to Eugene but couldn't spot them. There were good for another year or so.
