Hello again,
For those of you whom I am working on your knives, I am working on them. At times I like to take time out and play.....
These are users and nothing fancy about them. The handles are made of Corian. They can be a little slick in the hand (not if it is bead blasted), but a good grip is all you need. The blade is 1084 and 1/8" thick. The pins are brass 1/8".
The finish is 320 grit plus a hit or two on the buffer, then I bead blasted the blade only which shows the quench line well. The bead blast will hold oil well. Just maintain it as you would any other blade.......
Measurments are appx.:
5 7/8" total length
3 1/8 handle (corian)
2 3/8 cutting edge
1084 steel 1/8"
edge quenched, tempered twice.
brass pins
ivory will be posted later today I imagine
pics are of green and sand
Cost is $100 in the US
