Here is a nice Small game knife/EDC in Bolivian Rosewood!! Small game season has already started here in Wyoming!
I call it a small game knife, but its great for turkeys, trout, heck ive even dressed game up to the size of Elk with this class of knife. even though it would probably work best on deer and antelope at the upper range for this size.
OAL- 7"
blade- 3 3/16" long, .110" thick at the spine, .048" measured 1/4" back from the edge, and .011" at the shoulder of the edge, 3/4" wide
steel- High Performance 52100, with in-house differential heat treatment which includes triple normalize, triple anneal, triple edge quench, and triple draw, for a high performance blade, that holds a great edge, and yet is easy to sharpen! this one was forged from 1" round stock from McMaster Carr
grind- a full flat grind, sharpened on a 325 DMT stone with micro bevels, to an agressive razor edge
finish- handsanded 600 grit, etched in ferric. I quenched this one pretty deep, and so you cannot see a hardening line
handle- Bolivian Rosewood, with a 400 grit finish for a nice looking, yet secure grip, and a red/black micarta spacer
guard- 1/4" brass guard, nicely contoured to feel good on the finger, for greater control, and saftey in challenging situations, and 1/8" brass pin
sheath- 11-12 ounce dyed leather with a cam for a "snap fit". Sheath holds blade securely even when upside down, yet allows instant draw.
$295 plus $10 for shiping/insurance to CONUS. I can accept paypal Joe357m@bresnan.net or money order.
SOLD and SHIPPED!!!!
1st to post "I'll take it" gets it!!!
Ships within 48 hours of payment priority with ins.
Feedback appreciated, and thanks for looking!
If you would like one like this one or different, PM or email with details!
