After I get the farm cleaned up from hurricane Helene, I will be headed for deer camp for the month of October so here is just one more knife for sale before I escape to no internet, wood fires and kerosene lanterns.
This is a thin and slicey knife that I made from 1/8 inch thick 8670 high carbon steel, leaving the black mill scale on the flats. I heat treated in my Evenheat furnace to Rc 58-60, flat ground to a 400 grit belt finish and added a stabilized figured walnut handle with black Micarta spacers. The overall length is 8 inches with a 3 3/4 inche blade. A leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry.
