Greetings everybody and Merry Christmas! Many moons ago someone suggested I make a smaller version of my gaucho style. So I did! I hope you like it.

NitroV- Dimensions - 5/32” x 10 3/8” OAL and 5 7/8” from tip to bolster and the height is 1 3/8”. Filework on the spine. Hand sanded to 600 grit for a clean satin finish. Paul Bos Heat Treat to 60/61.

Balances on the bolster and the edge was .015” before sharpening. The spine is well rounded for a comfortable thumb.

The handle features a copper and brass bolster with black micarta spacer, Olive wood, green fiber plus black micarta in front of a Granadillo handle. It’s finished to 1200 grit, oiled and waxed.

The sheath features my feather motif and is a snug fit with great retention yet easy to deploy. So even if you’re not gonna go Gaucho’ing anytime soon this would still make a terrific BBQ blade with a very versatile profile for the kitchen and camp.

Hey thanks for all the kind comments fellas, I really appreciate it! ETA Yes Jack O'Neill Jack O'Neill I'm a big fan of olivewood too. There's a lot of trees in the Phx region and a few years back I saw a crew cutting one down, grabbed as much as I could and been using it since. (Mesquite too same story)

this is no longer available. I sent it out to the remote desert RV resort that sells my knives to the winter visitors. Inventory out there was low since several knives had sold already..
