Travman Travman Not sure why it got shut down, but it’s full of great knives.

I have never a seen a good thread end like that before. I wonder what happened and why it was shut down. I wonder if there is a way to turn it on again or if it could be merged with this thread so we don’t lose all those good posts.

Maybe there is a moderator we could ask. @Spark

Was the other one closed by mistake?
I'm not sure why that thread was closed. If Frank knarfeng knarfeng agrees we can unlock it. Since this is a thread for small GEC knives I don't think merging the two is appropriate.

I dug around and found this. I'm not sure what his beef was but he can lock a thread that he started. Let's not get into what did or did not happen here.

Good question. I do like almost all the smaller GEC’s. The 14’s are probably my favorite aesthetically. They have such a classic shape.

Beautiful! I have its relative in Clip as a 15 but that's outside this thread. Great Spear on yours, I'm lucky to have the Spear long pull 14 in Red Jigged Bone though.

The forthcoming Forum Knife from GEC has elicited quite a lot of critique for its proposed jigging as being lacklustre and underwhelming- I concur with that. Some have said that GEC never jigs into the bolster, which is certainly not the case as can be seen here on the 14's bolster. Plenty of other examples too and nice light/dark contrasts in dyes which the proposed FK woefully lacks.

I do like that style of jigging that goes into the bolsters. Nice small knife choices.

Here is my small knife of the day. First generation clip point 06 Pemberton with Tomato Acrylic handles.

The Pemberton is such a classy looking knife which I have zero of,but the cap ends really suit it,I think if the 22 mag had cap ends this run I would of got one.

On hearing that the 22 is EVEN smaller than this gem 19 Coyote, I resolved to pass on that one. The Coyote Blackwood is a really beautiful small knife, fine finish and action, looks very desirable but it IS small.....too small for my EDC needs unlike this small Seiko Auto which is a great working watch, light, unobtrusive & reliable.
