Hey stjames.
Short answer, I believe that the manx is roughly on par with the quality of a kershaw knife and some BMs and zts. The spyderco import line is probably a little less good with most but i haven't gotten to handle a ppt yet and i have been dying to.
Long ocd answer.
I think the quality is very close to that of a bm, at least thats my experience. There are little things that make me wonder a bit, for instance there is one screw that serves no function other than to help secure the bolster, it drive through and comes out into the handle. its just a fraction of a hair and most people would never notice it but things that arent perfectly flush bother my ocd. also the bolster its 99 percent flush but there is just this one section where if you measured it with a micrometer (which i did) you would see it isnt perfect. So if your like me and your insane then there might be one or two things off but ive seen these same types of things in knives that are triple the price. The last bm i got wasnt sharp from the factory and I had to use a torx driver to tighten two of the screws so that the butt spacer would stop rattling. basically one can find flaw with anything that isnt custom or very high end midtech like CRK. For the money its one of the most impressive knives I have seen.
