Howdy y'all! I'm looking into purchasing a kiln for heat treatment and getting the most out of the 01 tool steel I've been heat treating rather primitively...

I'm looking to get either an Evenheat or Paragon in the 13.5-14.5" depth range. Is there a huge difference in quality between these manufacturers? The Evenheats in that range come in 120V or 240V, paragons only in 120V. Paragons are more expensive. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I don't have any experience with Paragon, but my Evenheat KF 22.5 has been reliable so far. It came very well packed for shipping and seems to be built well.

I have a Paragon KM14D and never had a problem in 8 years. You can get the Paragons in 240v. When I ordered mine I got it in 240v and there was no additional charge. When I was looking to buy one I studied on them for several months and went with the Paragon.

Do your homework and weigh your options and then decide.
