I had used this oven for over 7 years of knife making and last year I upgraded to a paragon and no longer need this one.
This is a Thermolyne model 1300 furnace. It would be great for knife making, jewelry, glass or small ceramics.
The inside dimensions are 4in W X 4in H X 5in deep. It is great for folder blades and small fixed blades. Heats up to 1500 deg in about 30 min and goes up to over 2000deg. The heating coils are 2yrs old and were replaced by me. If you wanted to you could drill another hole in the back and add a pyrometer so you could see the actual temp instead of using the gauge.
The outside dimensions are 11-1/2in high, 8in wide and 7in deep.
Price is $250 shipped in the US.
Thanks for looking,
Chuck
